The Vocational High School Based on Regional Potential in Ciamis, Indonesia

The aim of this research was to discover the relevance of vocational high school to the regional potential in Ciamis, Indonesia. The study used qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The primary and secondary data were gathered from Ministry of National Education Indonesia, Statistics Bureau of Ciamis, Development Planning Agency of Ciamis, Education Department of Ciamis, and Vocational High School Number 1 Cipaku. The results of the study showed that are 14 groups included in the Agribusiness and Agrotechnology. The students in the agribusiness and agrotechnology was 4% with the total number of 653 students. In the future it is the right efforts from schools and government to reassurance students and society that vocational high schools in agribusiness and agrotechnology is essential and have great prospects.
