Development of School Management Capacity : Utilization of Standard Procedures and Workflow according to Vision and Mission

Abstract—How can school management work effectively? Meanwhile, many existing documents become "dead" documents; which are not being used as management guidelines. This study is focused on the development of school management capacity. The goal is to utilize standard procedures and workflow in the development of school program management capacity according to vision and mission. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and study of the documents/artifacts. The validity of the data is done by checking credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results show that with the standard procedures and workflows which are understood, visualized, and used by all teachers and staffs, management performance becomes more organized and well directed.
