Softskills Toward Job Readiness

It is a kind of quantitative research. The research design is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). It has purpose to give information about the correlation among soft skills of communication skill aspect and problem-solving skill with job readiness as latent variable by analyzing factors of manifest variables. The method used in this research is survey. The population of this research is all the students of accountancy department of grade XII of State Vocational High School in Tangerang regency with stratified random sampling. Questioner data collected by giving a set of questions or written statement to the respondents to be answered. Research result analysis shows that soft skills of communication skill aspect and problem-solving skill give influence toward job readiness. Communication skill has a direct influence toward problem-solving skill and job readiness, while problem-solving skill also gives influence toward job readiness.
