The Analysis of the Implementation of Teachers Structuring and Equalizing in 3T Regions Policy

Education is one of the goals of the establishment of the Indonesian nation as stated in the 1945 Constitution: to educate the entire life of the nation. However, this adequate teachers-students ratios does not occur evenly across the country. One of the most fundamental problems is the unequal distribution of teachers in some areas that are far from urban areas, especially areas that state as the 3T Region (underdeveloped, remote, and border region). To resolve the problems, the government through Ministry of Education and Culture formulating a structuring and equalizing policy program. This research was conducted to assess the implementation of the policy program. The purpose of this study is to find the pictures and information of the structuring and equalization in 3T region program, the implementation and the support factors and the obstacles of the implementation of the program.
