ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING TEACHER COMPETENCE IN NORTHWEST MOUNTAINS OF VIETNAM

The study investigated the impact of different factors on teaching competencies at secondary education. The study was conducted with a survey of 1256 junior and senior high school teachers in Northwest mountains of Vietnam. The data obtained was tabulated, analyzed and interpreted by using statistical techniques as mean, standard deviation average rating, T-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) to reveal the most variable that affecting teacher competence in Northwest mountains that there are seven factors that most affect the competence of teachers. These factors identified as an internal factors (gender, age, major, experience, race,...), and external factors, namely the distances to school, and school facilities, culture.
