REPACKAGING TEACHERS’ WELFARE SERVICES TO ENHANCING STUDENTS’ ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT IN SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS, NIGERIA.

Teachers’ welfare services are very essential to the continuing growth of educational system around the world and they rank alongside professional knowledge and skills, centre competencies, educational resources as well as strategies, in genuinely determining educational success and performance. Teachers have regarded as an inevitable mechanism in the nurturing of the learners, sustenance and the maintenance of education. In order to improve teachers’ welfare in the provision of quality students’, teachers are required to have better services that would make them to increase their service render to mankind. In the context of this present study, plethora teachers services were raised and mechanism on how to provide them by the government. The aim of this study was to review some of the services needed by teacher in our system.
